Short Programs

Department of Dramatic Arts’ short programs are collaborations with Chula’s Academic Services Center of Arts to connect knowledge of the arts, especially dramatic arts, to the public via short programs for general public. The programs offer applied knowledge and skills applicable to other occupations, enabling executives or experts to improve their performance. The programs are designed to fulfill each organization’ requirements. Examples of available programs are

1. “Principle acting and voice training for communication program for executives (2 days program)”

A workshop focusing on training through activities on acting and voice process for general people in executive positions to train in basic acting and voice training, to improve their public communication skill, to build confidence and charms, to impress their subordinates and the public audience.

2.“The Art of Salesman” Program (21 hours program, 7 sessions, 3 hours/session)

A program designed specifically for salesperson to improve certain skills and to solve specific problems for private companies that give client presentations and deal with various problems relating to the sale. The program teaches how to improve thinking skill, to create interesting contents for sale presentation, and to improve personality for public communication through acting practice and efficient use of voice, for the company’s image and success. The program also teaches how to manage problems and emotions of clients (and yourselves) in stressful situation. The trainees will learn various skills through practical training in simulation under the supervision of expert teachers.

3. “Storytelling Techniques and Visualization for Business Presentation” Program (2 days)

A program designed to fulfill requirements of any organizations, companies, and stores, whether government or private sector, in improving presentation techniques such as storytelling and visualization for presentation, enabling the presenter to select information, to visualize, and to create modern, interesting content to stimulate positive behavior beneficial to the business or the organizations.
