Assoc.Prof.Sodsai Pantoomkomol
Associate Professor Sodsai Pantoomkomol, called by her students “Kru Yai”, is the founder of the Department of Dramatic Arts in the Faculty of Arts at Chulalongkorn University in 1971. She received the honorary doctorate form Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, and became a national artist for performing art (theatre and television) in 2011.She is also the co-founder of Channel 3 Thailand Acting School in 1976. Assoc. Prof. Sodsai is widely acclaimed as the pioneer of dramatic arts education in Thailand.
